The worker’s struggle in the northeast of Chubut. An exercise of timing 1990-1997

Abstract

Between 1990 and 1997, considerated like a period who start with the imposition of the hegemony of financial capital and characterized for the advance of the conjunct of the neoliberal project, the workers of northeast Chubut carried out many experiences about how to resist to this project of pauperization and expulsion of their social territories. In this approximation we attempt an approach that shows the relationship between this local struggle process with the national’s events. Trough these years many changes occurred in the working class struggle and in their organization forms and so in the bourgeois, who were realizing different parts of their project through the creation of structural unemployment, the disciplination of the labour force, etc. The description of some of the most important conflicts will allow to observe the development of the process.
